The March Work Party will be at Sawyer Marsh to remove invasive plants and allow native plants to flourish along Trout Brook. This small CELT-owned parcel has no trails, due to its extensive wetland and bird habitat areas onsite. So, visiting it in the early spring should work well for this event!
Let’s meet at 9 am at the corner where Stephenson Street turns to become South Street. (The property access is adjacent to 6 Stephenson St, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107). There is parking on nearby residential streets, in accordance with Town regulations. We’ll have some clippers, work gloves, and tools to share, but certainly bring any you have that may help, as well as appropriate clothing for a morning outdoors and water to stay hydrated.
